FINANCIAL REVIEW
Reservc5 poIi£y
CYCALL has a Reserves Policy aT]d aim5 to Tnaintain sufficien( Teserves of £3.500. This 15 unr¢strictcd fund5.
The Reserves Policy ]% revi¢wed annually. At the end of the financial year 2021122 r¢s¢rves amounted to
£13.172.
The principal source of CYCALL ￿ndIng is from Grants. These funds are supported by attending local community
evenis, voluntary donations and selling of donated giMMJs ai Car Boot sales. Fundrdising opportunities were limited in
2021 due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic. Howev¢r. voluntary donations increased and individuals continued to
undertake challenge5 and generated donaiions via Just Giving pages.
950/0 of CYCALL grant appli¢ations are successful. The CYCALL key objcctives of InCr&￿illg phystcal activity and
reducing social isolation for ￿Ople with disabilities or long t¢rni health conditions are very cU￿ent both nationally and
on a local level. Both objectives feature heavily in National and Local Government planning for health and w¢llbetn8
ouieomes. Many fvnders hove specific funds to address these issues. These issues were especially prevalent due to the
amplified effects of the pandemic which were expertenced by People with disabiliiies or long
tern) health condilions.
Fundraising activities are planned for SumTner 2022 including a fLEndtaisints day orgaTriscd by Angmering Cycling Club
and CYCALL at Brookl8nds Park io raise funds for CYCALL a¥Ld a fundraising day for MDUK. These will both be
cominunity events.
CYCALL has a Grant Plann¢r which along with voluntary donations ensures a sustsinable futrjre for the organisation.
(htr overheads are manageable due to Adur & Worthing Council providing oiir site I￿atiOn and storage at no cost.
In Spring 2022 a Square machine and QR code was laUnCh￿j which links to a Square checkoul. This ha5 been
invaluable and has meant thai people are now able to dona* by card. We can also take the Square machine to
community cvents which we atiend.
At the wish of the Trustees. CYCALL se5SiQlls wntinue io be free (o prevent financial exclusion. This sI￿atIOn is
m(Trnitored and at Present moTt donations are given at ¢ath %ssion than would be taken &$ a payrnent for a session.
