**Objects:** FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF ILKLEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (“THE AREA OF BENEFIT”) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PRESERVATION, PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF ILKLEY RIVERSIDE PARKS.

**Activities:** Friends of Ilkley Riverside Parks (FOIRP) work in partnership with Bradford Council. We plan Park improvements and seek to raise the necessary funding to achieve these improvements. In addition, FOIRP organise regular Work Parties throughout the year to ensure all the essential maintenance work required is carried out, where the Council no longer have the resources to ensure these are done.
