The purpose of the Trust is preserve three of Ludlow’s four weirs, namely the Case Mill weir, the Horseshoe weir and the Mill Street weir for the people of Ludlow and Ludford and the nation at large.
We regularly undertake surveys of the weirs so that any necessary remedial repairs can be done at an appropriate time. We employed Sanctus to undertake such a survey, which was carried out in 2021. We employ a Weirs’ Manager who
