This charity has undergone delays in submitting its returns as it was set up by a former Minister without the support or engagement of the Treasurer and run by him with other trustees not aware of the arrangements.
The accounts have continued to be prepared by the Treasurer but on the assumption that the church was operating as an excepted charity under the THE UNITED REFORMED CHURCH (SOUTHERN SYNOD) TRUST LIMITED Charity number: 282270southern synod
The Minister left the church but did not reassign the contact details. I became aware of this when one of the remaining trustees received reminder letters to submit the accounts and as a volunteer from another church and member of the Pastoral Committee I am trying to retrieve the information to submit and then ensure the charity is up to date and operating in compliance.
