The object of the Foundation is, for the public benefit, the advancement of medical education by the publication of relevant literature. The Foundation for Medical Publishing produces The Britsh Student Doctor Journal (BSDJ)

## **Senior Editorial Board**

About The British Student Doctor Journal (BSDJ) 

BSDJ is the only peer-reviewed and open-access international journal uniquely managed by medical students and resident doctors. As an Academy of Medical Educators (AoME) journal, it is primarily aimed at a readership of medical students and resident doctors in the UK. 

We publish original research and systematic reviews, and we also provide a platform to medical students to express original thought and reflections on clinical practice, student life and medical education. 

All our content is fully open access, available without subscription and with no authorship charges. All articles published in The British Student Doctor Journal go through a rigorous peer-review process, led by our Editorial Board. The governance of the journal is overseen by our Faculty Advisory Board. We are published by Cardif University Press and funded by the Academy of Medical Educators and Cardif University School of Medicine.

## TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILITIES IN RELATION TO FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 

Charity Law requires the Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which comply with the regulations set out in the Charities Act 2011. The Trustees have elected to take advantage of the provisions that apply to small charities and have prepared a Receipts and Payments Account and Statement of Assets and Liabilities which are set out on pages 5 and 6.
