Objects
The Oli Leigh Trust was estsblished by Trust Deed on IP May 2019 to advance such charitable
purposes for the public benefft in England and Wales as the trustees see fft from time to time, in
particular, but not limited to, the reduction in suicide rntes amon8 young people. by making grants
to other charities and not for profit organtsations who work for the public benefit in the area of
sulclde prevention.
The objectives are met by raising fund5 throuBh events and sponsorships, and receiving donations
from supporters, and makin8 grants to organisations working to reduce the rate of teenage suicide
in the UK.
The Trust was reglstered with the Charity Commission on 8 April 2020, Charity Number 1188968.

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records and for preparing the trustees.

prevention and detection of fraud and ot￿r iNegularities.
Publlc benefft
The trustees confimi that they have complied with the requirements of the Charltles Act 2011 to
have due regard to the public benefit guidènce published by the Charities Commission for England
and Wales.
Reserves
The trustees consider that the Trust should hold in reserves. as a minimum. 25% of net funds raised.
Acllvlties
The covid-19 pandemic meant that many activities the Trust had planned for the year had to be
postponed. The Trusiees have. however, been detennined to keep the Trust attive during thls
period and have pNoted successfully into online events and fundraising. The Trustees have
continued to grow the profile of the Trust in many areas.

During the year the Trustees launched our Patrons initiati￿. Individuals and corporates are invited
to become a si￿er, gold, diamond or platinum Patrons. During the year 25 Patrons signed up and we
are very grateful for their support.
Durlng the year the Trust also appointed our first Ambassador, Oliver Moorhouse. We a￿ thrilled
with this appointment and excited about working together with Oliver to advan￿ the work and
profile of the Trust.
The Trust is also delighted to have announced our first Sponsor during the year. Heronslea Group.
who have chosen to make The Oli Leigh Trust their nominated charity for the year. This association
will provide the Trust W5th invaluable support and fij￿15 during the perlod of their sponsorship.
A number of very successful online fundraislng events have been held during the year. These include
a quiz. a magic evening and two poker tournaments. Additionalty, several enormously successful
social media campai8ns have been run during the year which have both raised funds for the Trust
and raised our profile exponentially. These include #hobby40li, #cake40li and #orange40li. Durin8
this latter campaign. run to coincide with the 3 anniversary of 01(s passln& the Trust raised over
£II,CO) in a 48 hour period and our Chair ofTrustees, Mithelle. was featured on the London ITN
new5.
On Christmas Day a team of 011 Leigh Trust trustees and volunteer5 dellvered care packages to the
homeless in central London. The team were humbled by some of the people and stor￿$ they
encountered which will stsy wtth them for a long time.
Our Chair of Trustees has taken part Sn radio shov￿. podcasts and several online tslks to schools and
other organisations. The Trust has been featured in a Jewish Chronicle Charity Supplement and an
editorial featuring the #orange40li campai8n.
During the year the Trust has affiliated with several o￿anISatIonS. Indudln8 The Natlonal Sulclde
Preventlon Alllance and SHOUT.
During the year the Trust launched our flrst merchandlse to raise funds for the Trust. A specially
commissioned beer was brewed and a range of p05itNity bracelets was designed and manufactured.
These are available for sale through our website. The Trust is currently In the process of launchin8 a
fvrther range of merchandise and an online shop to be launthed later this year.
During the year a children's book has been commissioned by the Tn￿t whlch will be published later
this year.
The Trust ha5 also been supported by many individuats and groups during the perlod with
fundraising campaigns and donations and we are eXtrerne￿ grateful for thelr support.
Future events planned include a 7-3-side football tournament and a gala event at the Tottenham
Hotspurs stsdium.
The accounts, which are prepared on a receipts and payments basis. show total receipts for the year
of £38,58212020: £35.8131 and total payments of £29.77612020: £13.9651. with net re￿ipts, after
grants distributed, of £8,￿.
The Trust has awarded three grants during the year.
The Ollie Foundation- St. Albans based charity that aims to reduce teenage sutcide by
providing suicide prevention training and education.. This is our second grant to thts amaiir
charity who have provided the Trust wrth great 511PPOrt and guidance.

iheart- national charity running mentsl health and wellbeing courses in schools. Our grant
helped fund a training course in 4 primary schools for 7-9 year olds to develop their mental
reSi1￿nCe and provide them with the tools to deal with anxiety and stressful c1rcumstsn￿s.
Beyond- a national 5uKide prevention charity running workshop5 and events in Schools
across the country
Grant applicatlons are now invlted for 2022.
The Trustees would like to thank all our volunteers and supporters for all their efforts in helping the
Trust help teenagers see through the fog.
