not ours), which only made the evening more genuSne and rnernoralje. Dame Maggi8 Aderin-PocK)ck look us on
a whi611e-slop lour ol the univ•rs•. managing lo make •slrophysics t¢)th understandable and fun- èvèn if Shè

backing tracks ￿ gimmicks, and the Shertock Holmes play was suth a hrt Ihol several audience membe

Beyond those headline events. th• prografflrne delivered on our goal of offering somethlng for evwgng- from
comedy with Mark Watson, to music from the Julian Coslello Quart8t and Balh Male Choir. lo walks and the
¢v?r-popular F￿* Fringe. W? tri•d $omelhin9 new- some saw rt 44 o brt of 4 ri•k lor an Artg F•Btiv•l to •pon•or

Financially, we more or less hekj our own. We kept to our polw of keeping licket prices as low 85 possible, which
continues to make the accounts h)ok ex¢itingly unpredictable. Il's skn'll the right thing lo do.
a good year, a strong programme, and a reminder that the arts are alive and well in Devizes. My thanks lo
the committee, the Friends, and everyone who helped or attended. Let's do it all again nexi June. Bul before that.
