5. Trustees vote to award grant, on a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ basis whereby the vote with the highest number wins.

## Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

The above-mentioned fundraising challenge and the donations from Redbrik Estate Agents match funding campaign, where each seller is given the opportunity to donate £25 on completion of their house sale and it is matched by another £25 from Redbrik, raised a total of £13,951. £1,771 was raised by the staff of Redbrik taking part in a 10k race and £12,179.92 was transferred from Redbrik Estate Agents.

As a result of also having £16,294 on account from the previous year we were able to donate £27,120 to several local charities including Mind, Cavendish Cancer Care, Pathways and PACT.

The charities have used the funds for specific projects or the general running of their organisations. We have followed our approved grant making policy.

At the end of the previous year (2023) we developed a “Charity of the Month’ idea where each month we donate £2000 to a different local charity. This runs alongside any charity being able to approach us and request a grant.
