## **Structure, Governance, and Management** 

Al-Zahra Association is a registered charity governed by a constitution. The trustees are responsible for ensuring that the charity operates in compliance with its governing document, charity law, and regulatory requirements. New trustees are appointed through a nomination and selection process to ensure appropriate skills and experience. 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

The Association’s primary objectives are: 

- The advancement of Islam in accordance with the tenets and doctrines of the Shia Ithna Asheri Sharia. 

- The promotion and advancement of education in accordance with the Sharia. 

- The relief and assistance of people in need, locally or internationally, who are victims of poverty or natural disaster, by providing financial aid or supplying basic necessities. 

During the year, our key activities included: 

- Organizing educational seminars and workshops. 

- Hosting community events and religious gatherings. 



## **Achievements and Performance** 

Over the past year, Al-Zahra Association has successfully: 

- Hosted over 40 events, including educational workshops, community gatherings, and religious programs. 

- Raised £22,716 in donations to support our initiatives.
