Achievements and Performance

Para 1.20	Main achievements:  Participation in Bawtry Festival week by giving a public talk, guided walks, a children’s Town Trail quiz & a children’s essay competition  Creation & launch of website containing original local history papers, a gazetteer of significant buildings & sites, census returns, & detail of sources (published & online) available for researching local history  New nominations to South Yorkshire Heritage List, with two being accepted  Commissioned painting of Bawtry Wharf  Joined Doncaster District Heritage Association & participated in their Local History Fair  Completed oral history project & placed it on the website  Launched Rom an Bawtry project  Productive engagement with South Yorkshire Archaeological Services & Portable Antiquities Scheme By these means we have raised the profile of BHG and successfully engaged with people interested in Bawtry’s history.

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	We won a £1000 grant from Garfield Weston for our Town Trail waymarking project. Our major expense was for the creation of our website. We obtained £694 Gift Aid from HMRC.
