WILTON BRADLEY CHARITABLE TRUST TRUSTEES, REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31 DECEMBER 2023 The Trustees of the Wilton Bradley Charitable Trust are pleased to present this report of the Wilton Bradley Charitable Trust Ilhe Trust) along with the financial statements of the Trust for the year ended 31 December 2023. The Trustees are satisfied that the financial statements comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011, the Charity's Constitution and the recommendations of the Statement of Recommended Practice. These financial statements have ken prepared on the Receipts and Payments Basis. Objectives and activities The Wilton Bradley charitable trust exists to advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time, in particular but not limited lo relieve.. lal sickness, tX)verty and financial hardship amongst young people. children and others living or working in South Devon and beyond by, for example. making grants of money or providing or paying for goods, facilities and services., and Ibl the needs of and increase the opportunities of young people and children living in South Devon and beyond by providing, for example, advice, equipment, as51Stance and by supporting them in advancing their education and skills. The donations received to dale have been entirely from Wilton Bradley Limited. Public benefit The Trustee Board has complied with the duly in section 4 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Commission. Achievements and perfonnance During the year to 31 December 2023, there have been five grants paid. Financial Review During the period to 31 December 2023, the Trust had net payments of£20,33312022 - net payments ol L58,1251. Receipts totaling £nil12022 - £nill were received from Wilton Bradley Limited, via donations during the period. Risk management The Trustee Board is committed to the identification and management of the major strategic, business and operatiorTral risks which the Trust faces. The Trustee Board is tasked with identifying the likelihood and impact of any risks, together with such actions as may be necessary to miligale such risks. Reserves policy It is the Trustees, objective that the Trust should m31ntain a positive level of reserves at all times. Free reserves currently s13nd at £160.36312022: £180,696), which is the bank balance as at 31 December 2023.

We have issued subsequent grants to some of them to continue lo supwrt their charitable aclivilies. We are also Investigating the possibility of running some events ourselves Such as school holiday clubs for children that fall into the criteria that Wilton Bradley charitable trust aims lo support. We continue to develop our relationships lo access those who are in need. We have launched a project called Beds for Kids, where we are providing beds and bedding for families who are struggling financially and Children who would OtheIse be sleeping on the floor, we are working through local schools and have an increasing number of schools working with us and processing applications for children in need, there is proving to be considerable demand. As a result, we are considering looking for external funding in order to be able lo help more children and families. structure, Governance and Management Goveming document The governing document is the Wilton Bradley Charitable Trust Constitution adopted on 6 April 2020 which became recognised by the Charity Comrnission when the Trust was registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisalion on 6 April 2020. Constitution The Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisalion. The memtErs of the Trust are ils charity trustees for the tirne being. If the Trust is wound up, the members of the Trust have no liability to contribute to its aqsels and no personal responsibility for settling its debts and liabilities. Related Parties Donations into the Trust are made by Wilton Bradley Limited, an entity in which some the Trustees are directors. Organisation The Trustee Board sets and oversees the Trust's strategy and objectives, monitors ils effectiveness, and 3wards grants. The Trustee Board meets at least twice a year. In the period covered by this Report, the Trustee Board has met eight times. The Trust has no employee5. Appointment of Trustees The Trustees are either directors of Wilton Bradley Limited or friends and family of the directors.
