The aims of Friends of Tynybryn Park are to fund raise to provide further facilities for the various sporting groups that use Tynybryn Park.

FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF TONYREFAIL AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (“THE AREA OF BENEFIT”) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PRESERVATION, PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF TYN Y BRYN PARK.

We have raised just over £20000 this year, and have held a community event to publicise our campaign to raise funds to build both the outdoor gym and the skate park.

Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves
We have no policy on reserves. All funds will be used in accordance with our objectives and will thus be spent on projects that improve facilities at Tyn y Bryn Park for the benefit of the residents of Tonyrefail. At present all funds will be used to fund our gym/skatepark project.
