## **Activities** 

The Bishopton Community Centre CIO (BCC) has been set up to manage the Bishopton Community Centre in Stratford upon Avon for the good of the community. The CIO is negotiating a lease of the BCC hall from Warwickshire County Council and when this is completed will be responsible for the upkeep and running of the  hall. It will use this resource to support and help the community by renting the hall to groups who benefit the community in any way.

There were 6 Trustees during the year, as named in the constitution dated 3[rd] April 2020.

Since the lease on the hall had not been completed by year end, partly due to delays caused by the pandemic, there was no income or expenditure in the year and there were no assets or liabilities.

There are no employees. This charity does not raise funds from the public. This charity does not have any trading subsidiaries. No trustees receive any remuneration, payments or benefits from the charity.

## **Notes to the accounts** 

Bishopton Community Centre CIO was registered with the Charity Commission on 3rd April 2020. It was set up to take over the running of the Bishopton Community Centre hall, to be held on a ten year lease from Warwickshire County Council. For various reasons, but primarily the Covid pandemic, the lease was not signed until 1st November 2021. 

For the period to 31st March 2021 there were therefore no financial transactions and the organisation had no assets or liabilities. 

The company was entitled to exemption from audit under s477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. 

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006. 

The Trustees acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts. These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to small companies subject to the small companies regime and in accordance with FRS102 SORP.
