Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

Sufficient funds have been raised to allow the activities of the charity to continue

A visit to the projects in Ghana was made by one of the trustees and found that the projects were running successfully. Though progress on the toilet block in Alavanyo Agome is quite slow. Our project manager in Ghana have proved invaluable in keeping the projects running and identifying other projects

Getting the active cooperation of the communities of Alavanyo Wudidi, Dzogbedze, Agome, Hohoe Gbi Wegbe and, Gbedema Kofi to help with the projects in their communities. (Community Action Ghana tries wherever possible to get the communities to contribute about 50% of the costs through work in kind and providing locally available materials.)

The website www.communityactionghana.org has had over 20,000 hits and is updated regularly

The website provided a link to school in Cirencester and they have donated monies towards a future library project. Links with the Leo’s of Cambridge High School New Zealand continue
