B￿c provides friendly, welcoming sessions and activities for all ages and backgrounds. We are
able to welcome members and visitors into friendly. positive activities and sessions through a well
presented facility with coaches and supervisors who care for the oulstanding community that they

representing the sport well in everything that it does.
The charily has been able to achÉeve its objects by launching Junior coaching sessions, wher8
juniors are provided with a high level of coaching, in an environment which is safe and welcoming.
We have further achieved this by launching new Internalional Style Table Tennis Camps that have
provided some of the best coaching opportunities for players in our region. We were able to
welcome several lop level coaches to our three day camps, where we have now built loundations
for future training camps. Over the course of this year, the club has seen its n￿s1 successful
season to date and we have seen players compete in competitions up and down the county
throughout the 2023-24 campaign.
Club running and perfonnance
Over the course of the period, the club has continued to worl( closely with Hope House Church.
we place our close relationship with them al the heart of what we do and remain thankful for their
heart and partnership which enables us to be the organisation that we are today.
B￿c runs on signrficant voluntary hours. by several trustees, committee members and general
volunteer5 including many parents. It is thanks to the persistent hard work and dedication to
promole tablo tennis. by these individuals. that we are able to function as wè do day-to-day. The
club operates on approximately 40 voluntary hours per week across all sessions, office work and
activities. With recent developments of our Snlernational Style Training Camp we have inlroduced
a new team of dedicated individuals who ensured that Ihe camps have been able to njn as well as
they did.
Over 50s Bat & Chat

provide outstanding social opportunities for people from all areas of Barnsley. They allow
members and visitors to come together Irom different communities and backgrounds, for

exists to support, enable and teach youngsters how to live, play and enjoy table tennis. We value
our coaching team immeasurably and we understand the huge impact that they have on the

by several parents. families and relats.ves ot players and coaches.

be a huge success. We welcomed a highly qualified team of coaches who provided three day
training camps for players from our club and acros5 the region. The International Style Training
