The trustees present the annual report together vitth the financial statements of th& charity
for the year ended 31 March 2024.
Objectives and activities
The objert of the chairity is the relief of children with complex needs, such as a severe
disability, and their families, for the public benefit, by providing or assisting in the provision of
specially adapted accommodation for a holiday or respite for them.
The charity will achieve this Purpose by providing accommodation that will be modified and
furnished to meet the specific needs of the children in an area that has plenty of suitable
activities.
The main actwity in the period vms to continue the adaptation of the propety in preparation
for future use.
Public benefit
The charity's purpose is to provide relief to those in need by reason of disability. The
provision is aimed at children with severe physical and mental disabilrties and will provide
relief and respite for them and their families, which is for the public benefit.
The trustees confimi that they have complied wrth the requirements of section 17 of the
Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the public benefft guidance published by the
Charity Commission for England and Wales.
AGhievements and perfomiance
During the year the charty continued to improve and adapt the property.
The adaptation of the property needs to be completed before the children and their families
will be allowed to visit and the purposes of the charty can be fulfilled. The completion of the
work on the property is the cuffent objective of the charity.
Flnancial review
The accounts show the resutts for the year ￿￿th net receipts of £4,669 in the unrestricted
fund and £9,705 total cash funds being held at the year end.
Reserves pollcy
The charity has a policy of maintaining sufficient reserves to enable the charity to meet, as a
minimum. rts operational costs for the next three months, which are estimated to be £2,000.
The charity had eX￿$S reserves at the period end as funds are required to continue with the
adaptation of the property. The reserves of the charity are continually monitored and
reviewed to ensure they are adequate to fuffil the objedives of the charity.

Structure, governance and management
Governing document
The chaflty is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation {CIO} which was registered as a
charily on 31 March 2020. The CIO is govemed by its Constitution which was adopted on 11
March 2020 by th8 trustees.
Recruitment and appointment of tn￿teeS
Trustees can be appointed by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the
charity trustees. In selecting individuals for appointment as charity trustees, the charity
trustees must have regard lo the skills, knowledge and experien￿ needed for the effectiv8
administration of the CIO.

I report to the tharity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the tharity for the year
ended 31 March 2024 vthich are set out on pages S to 7.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charty trustees of Hale Specialist Accommodation For Families With Disabled
Children you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance Wth the
requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {'the Act.).
I report in resped of my examination of the Hale Specialist Accommodation For Families
With Disabled Children's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in
carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 145(5){b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have come to my
attention in connertion with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material
respect:
1. accounting records were not kepl in respect of Hale Specialist Accommodation For
Families With Disabled Children as required by section 130 of the Act; or
2. the accounts do not accord wrth those records-. or
3. the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements con￿MIng the fonn and
content of accounts set OLrt in the Chanties (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008
other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair view, which is not a
matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no GonrErns and have come across no other matters in connection with the
examination to which attention should be dravm in this report in order to enable a proper
understanding of the accounts to be reached.
