Trustees Annual Report for the year 31.3.21 to 4.4.22.
While the Museum has occupied the ground floor with its displays, the groups and societies supporting Surrey Heath Museum have maintained displays, some selling their wares, publishing books and giving regular talks. Displays include local archaeology, history, natural history and art work. Local societies have been promoted and supported.
Recovering after Covid 19 was gradual and slow, especially with numbers attending talks. We make a small amount of money through commission on sales and donations. Our main income derives from the sale of 2[nd] hand books donated by members and the public. It is our intension to apply for grants. This is being delayed by the need for a lease for our current premises and revising the name for the charity’s account with NatWest. We understand that both matters will soon be resolved.
