||||||LGBTAwards
(Top 10 LGBT+ Charities or||
||||||Cornrnunity
IniTiatives) and the 2023||
||||||Burberry
British Diversity Awards (Charity|of|
||||||the Year). Both these high-profile
awards||
||||||have helped raise Hidayah's
profile as a||
||||||charity but also has boosted the visibility|of|
||||||the often ignored
minority that
it serves:||
||||||LGBTQ Muslims, For many, the simple||
||||||knowledge
that it is possible to exist as||
||||||LGBTQ and as Muslim
is revelatory
in and of||
||||||itself, and these awards
iipliR such||
||||||corninunities
as ours.||
||||||In the past year, the Hidayah
team has||
||||||created crucial resources that serve different||
||||||purposes. The inforrnadon
pack now housed||
||||||on Switchboard
LGBT's intranet isan||
||||||essential educational
tool for Switchboard||

||||||much-needed
school resource that serves to||
||||||benefit the wider public as well as LGBTQ||
||||||Muslims, as a reminder
that they are not||
||||||alone.||
||||||During Ramadan,
one ofthe most significant||
||||||times of year for Muslims (and often the||
||||||most dNicult for queer Muslims),
Hidayah||
||||||sends out weekly care packages toservice||

|LGBTQ Muslims who struggle
during this||

|The events that Hidayah
is involved
in vary||

|presence at protests such as||
|¹NotSafeToBeMe (campaigning
against||

|Particularly
in the past year, Hidayah's
social||
