Objectives and Activities

To help Ladies suffering with triple negative breast cancer by providing respite breaks away from treatment.

We organise a minimum of 3 events per year that are open to the public. A music in March, A garden fair every other year & a Christmas market (This being our biggest event)

The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the charity should undertake.

Volunteers make a big contribution to our events, Especially our Christmas markets.

Our main achievements in the period to March 2024 were to carry out our usual fundraising whilst also making a large donation to the Leicester Royal Infirmary to enable the purchase of specialist equipment for the new Oncology unit. We were able to do this after being granted permission by the Charity Commission to change our objectives.

Our financial position is very healthy. We now bank with Lloyds & we hold a Treasurers account & a commercial instant access account. At 7-12-2024 the Charity holds £48,039.00.

The power of appointment of new trustees is vested in the present trustees.
