(1) The preservation of health by raising awareness of Strokes, Diabetes and Kidney Failure.
(2) The advancement of education of children and young people in the performing arts and to further develop their appreciation of and participation in the arts.

During 2023-24, the Melissa Bell Foundation focused on rebuilding towards an annual fundraising gala, with plans in place to host the next event in mid-2024.
While there was no Spring Ball in 2023, efforts were directed towards strengthening relationships with key beneficiaries and ensuring long-term sustainability. We aimed to continue with the Slyvia Young but they were undergoing internal changes which concluded in a pause with a view to resuming next year.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
In addition, the foundation conducted workshops exploring new fundraising strategies, aiming to enhance financial versatility and expand future opportunities. These efforts reflect our commitment to growing our impact and securing the foundation’s long-term success.
