Johnson Road playing fields ctsntinues to be a great facility for local football. Thew new playifi8 kit was wrchased for all teams at stsrt of the year. The klt is custom de%gned for Bedworth Ea8les and is of great qualty and looks ￿allY good. The aub has ￿4CcredIted wlth E￿and Football forthe 2023n4 season. and Is also accredited with the 8irmlngham County Football Associatbn. As per previous yeao all ¥olunteers are DBS checked in line with FA ￿QuireMen￿ and have now compknd FA saleguardlre courses. The club contlnues to invest In Level I quallftcatlDns for Irs coaches. The aub has continued to grow. wlth U teams re8iSterin8 for league football in the 2023n4 season. totalling 149 p￿yerS at the commencement of the season. For the first time, this has included an U18 team which gives a pathway for the older members to move towards open age football. Mini Soccer continues to be available for community football on Saturday mornings. Similar to last year. bad weather Stop￿ this thrO￿h some of the winter months. Mini Soccer has now been restructured to allow children from the a8e of 4 throu8h to 9 to join sn fun football sessions at our Johnson Road slte. Two new U7 teams started this year with players followir8 on from sa￿rday Mini Soccer into league football. Two teams also played the wtrKle season belng unbeaten in lea8ue football vthich is a great testament to the hard M)rkir% coaches across the Club. The Club still aims to provKle toilet facilitie5 Ot iY5 John50n Road Site. but little pro8res5 ha5 been made with Nuneaton & Bedvrth BOr0￿h Council this year.
