Para 1.20 | Annual programme of lectures and an Annual Lecture by a well-known speaker which encourage members of the public to join the Friends of the Museum of Somerset, thus enabling their subscriptions to be used to support The Museum of Somerset. In November £225 was given to purchase a play mat to improve the ambience of the room used for story telling to young children. In April £2000 was given towards the purchase of the Cheddar Brooch, a remarkable Early Medieval silver and copper alloy disc brooch from Cheddar, dating to c. AD 800-900. |

A further £2405 is set aside for The Museum to use in ways that will enhance their visitors’ experience. |
