ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Chrdrltable actlvldes
Th¢ Education C¢ntr¢Nadras8ab which commenced buildin8 in 2022 is now complete and providing much
needed education classes to children in the Salaya community.
The centre also acts as a village community centre for Te$idents of the village to discuss social. financial and
environmental i&wes that affect them directly.
The village medical ceDtre is also DOW complete and operational providing basic medical care primarily
focussiD¥ on PT¢v¢ntion of eye diseases and careltreatment for women who are expectant but do not have the
financial means to pay for it.
16 r¢8id¢ntial units have beea built io date and are o¢¢upicd by fatuilic5 IDOSt in De¢d, i.e, w¢re previously
either homeless or living in shanti huts made of straw and WIKMI. The hon¢s ¢on81rt of a kitch￿. living area
and bcdToom(8) with nmnin8 water and ¢I￿triCTlY collneci￿ lo the n)ain grid.
We have also distributed approximately 3cKJ food parcels and basic necessiti¢& blankcl8. clothin8, elc during
Ibe month of Ramadan. One parcel per family was handed ¢)ut to the most needy villagers regardle85 of
colour. creed, ethnicity or religious affiliatioo.
Our focus foT the fu￿re 15 to furtbcr develop the 18Dd and build additional housing units for the most needy
famili¢$ along with a bespok¢ Community hall which can be rented for special c¢casions like wedding4
ei)8ag¢m¢nts. educational award ceremonics, etc. This in will create reDtsI income for the villagers in
order to contribute towards rnaintenance of communal 8r¢as lik¢ roads, str¢d ligbiiD& Ctc lo thk¢ a fiwther

FINANCIAL REVIEW

During the year, total incoming Te80urces w¢r¢ £57,242 (2024.. £57,938) and total oulgoiDg rcsourccs were
£50.533 (2024.. £65.934) which led to a surplus of £6.709 (2024: £7.996 - deficit) in the year.
A5 al 31st March 2025, total funds carried forward were £20.656 (2024: £13.947). out of which unrcstricted
rcserves w¢r¢ £16.051 (2024.. £ 13.947) and restricted reserves were £4.605 (2024: NtL).

The charity has mittimal overbeads and free reserve5 of £16.(M)O would cover sev¢ral y¢8r$.
Going concern
Wc Goofirm th¢ Trusi ha8 S￿￿ed sufficient income to operate for the next twelve months. As a result of
thi5, the acwuDts have been prepared on a going concern basis.
