Financial review
Total income for the year was £103.01712023 £30,276) and tot&l expenditure for the year was £81.744 {2023 £26,886)
creating 2 surplus for the year of £21,273 (2023 Sutplus of £3,390).
Reseivespolicy
It is ihe policy of the ¢haTity that unre5tTi¢ted funds whi¢h have not been de5igna¢ed for a sperific us¢ should be maintained at a
lev¢] quival¢nt to 3pproximat¢ly six month's cor¢ costs. The trustees consider that reserve5 at this l¢v¢l will ensure that, in the
event of a signifi¢an¢ drop in futtding, ttley will be able to coThtinue the ¢haTity'S ¢unent 4ctiVLti¢s while consideration is 8ivcn
to ways in which additional funds may be raised. The Trnstees are looking ai ways to in¢rease the reserves in the coming year
up to a level consistent with the staled Reserves Policy.

1.1 Accounting conventio
Th¢ financial statements have been pt¢paT¢d in accordance with the Charity's ¢OnStitution, the Charities Act 2011. FRS

SORP "A¢¢ounting ind Reporting by ChaTities." Sialement of Recommend¢d PTaciice applicable to charitie$ prepaTing
their a¢¢ounis in aC¢OTdan¢e with th¢ Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK alld Republic of Ir¢land IFRS
1021" (effective l January 20191. The charity is a Public Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
The charity has takcn advantage of th¢ provisions in the SORP for charities not to prepare a Statement ofCa5h Flows.
The financi&l statements have departed from the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulation$ 2008 only to the extent
required to provide a true and fair view. This departure has involved following the Stat¢in¢nt of Recommended Practice
for chaTTties applying FRS 102 rather than the version of the Statement of RecoTnm¢ndd PTaGtic¢ which i5 referred to in
the Regulation5 but which has Since b¢¢n withdrawn.

At the titne of approvin8 the financial statements, the trustees have a reasonable expectation thg4t the charity has adequatc
resources to continue in operational existence for the for¢5e¢able future. Thus the tru5t¢e5 continue to adopt the going
cotLCern basis of accounting in preparing the financial 5t8ternents.

Unrestricted funds are av&ilable for use at thc discretion of the tru51ees furtherance of their charitable objectives.
Restricted fi￿d$ are subject to specifie conditions by donors or graniors as io how they may be used. The purposes and
uses of the ￿stricted fund5 are s¢¢ oul in the notes to ihe fiDan¢ial stat¢m¢nts.
Endowment fvnds are subj¢¢t to 8p¢¢ifJ¢ ¢onditions by donors that the capitsl must be maintained by the charity.
1.4 Income
