We are an elder-**<br>**led church seeking to advance the**<br>**Christian faith through regular times of**<br>**public worship, prayer & bible study. We**<br>**have a service at 11.30a.m. every**<br>**Sunday morning held in the YMCA**<br>**building at 21 Freeman St., Grimsby. We**<br>**have sought to give & encourage**<br>**pastoral care & have constantly**<br>**reviewed our programme as our duty to**<br>**‘love one another’. We have supported**<br>**charitable social action in the local**<br>**community as several of our members**<br>**continue to work in the food kitchen. We**<br>**give monthly donations to 5 charities;-**<br>**The Bible Society,**<br>**Compassion ( supporting a 6  year old**<br>**boy in Ghana ), Open Door ( supporting**<br>**the persecuted Church ), Hope for**<br>**Justice**<br>**( anti-slavery & human trafficking ) and,**<br>**beginning in April 2022 Christians in**<br>**Ukraine ).**|

We also**<br>**meet there every Tuesday evening for**<br>**bible study and Thursday evening for**<br>**prayer. Due to a fall in membership to**<br>**just 7 in August 2022 we began a period**<br>**of fasting on the last Thursday of the**<br>**month and a bring and share meal on**<br>**the following Sunday after the service.**<br>**Since then we began to see a definite**<br>**growth in attendance so that by the end**<br>**of March 23 our membership had more**<br>**than doubled from the previous year. In**<br>**December we donated a Christmas**|





|||**hamper to all 74 residents of the hostel**<br>**as well as several staff members. We**<br>**also held a Christmas service in the**<br>**local Freeman St. Market which was well**<br>**attended and created some welcome**<br>**publicity. Subsequently we continued to**<br>**hold a service and be a presence in the**<br>**market    every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to**<br>**1 p.m. ( the Tuesday bible studies were**<br>**discontinued. In the time covered by**<br>**this report we held 3 Elder/ Trustee**<br>**meetings and 2 members meetings.**|
