Activities

We run an international peer-review science journal written, reviewed and produced by school students aged 12 to 20 in over 50 countries. We also run international science conferences for young people.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Advance Young People's Education And To Advance Public Knowledge Of Science By:- Inspiring And Support School-Age Students To Conduct And Disseminate Original Scientific Research- Further Understanding Of The Scientific Method, And Appreciation Of Science As A Process Of Continuous Improvement- Developing The Skills Of School-Aged Students, Both Technical Skills And Æsoftæ Skills Such As Communications, Teamwork, Leadership, Networking- Raising School-Aged Studentsæ Aspirations For Science-Based Studies And Careersthe CIO Achieves Its Objects By Providing School-Age Students With A Place To Publish Their Research, Supporting The Student-Run Editorial Team, Holding Conferences And Networking Meetings, Providing Careers Information, Advice And Guidance, And Showcasing Their Work To Others, Or By Any Other Activity IT Sees Fit.
