Report by Judy Bowden
It has been an Interesting year and also a sad one for me personally as15aid to Goodbye to
my faithful loyal companion Dinky. She is worthy of a mention a5 she nurtured so many
youn8 dogs espeaally the puppies that came through our door. She was a very speual do8,
very much loved and very rnuth mlssed... A dogs only default..they do not live long enough.
This year we have seen a spaniel wlth a deep la￿￿tiOn on her side that had been
superglued together and was infected.. (no longer wanted}
I took my car to the car wash and came home with little Milo the 6month old Dachshund! !
that was a new experiencel l However we were able to find Little Milo a family wlth
experience of Dachshunds.
We went nt to Comwall for a week to unwind in November and came home with the lovelv
Ralph Blue Roan Cocker.. !
Dumped Breeding bitches, and young puppies Penny the youn8 black Labrador puppy that
was underweight with a heavy worm burden and man8e, Cody the red Labrador puppy that
had a lump in his throat which upon investigation at the vets they discovered a grass awn,
and little Pixie which DNA revealed a Cotkapoothi {Cockapoo x Chihuahua) who weighed
0.5k8 and was barely alsve.. all developed into healthy sociable young pups... Penny as a
therapy do8 to a youn8 family and 15 a huge sUPPOrt to them all following a tragedy and
gives them all a meaning to each new day.l After discussing the case with the Trustees the
decision was made for us to donate Penny to this amazing family.
Cody went forward to be trained up as a gun4108. And little Pixie went to a rural home and
is living the dream I
Willow who is in the lon8 term care of Claire sadly had a problem with her elbow and had
to undergo surgery..We pledged full financial responsibility for Willow at the start of her
journey a5 we knewthere were gongto be complications and this Was too big a financial
burden to expect someone to pav...
TVK) English Springer Spaniels in one after the other. First was Louis a young 6 month old
with a fractured elbow which was repaired and funded by RSPCA Surrey Woking &
District..Louis came here for 6 weeks Rest and Rehabilitation.. next we had young Winnie
another young spaniel with a fractured elbow for another 6 weeks Rest and Rehabilitation

again funded by the RSPCA Surrey Woking & Distrirt (A self funding branch) Both do8S
healed well and were fortunate to go forward to vet nurses.
I have thoroughly enjoyed workin8 With the dogs we have had in..m05t of them being with
us 6 week5 plus so they really relax and open up and leave us as confident dogs.
