Summary of the objects of the charity as set out in its governing document	The objects of the CIO are for the public benefit on the Mendip Hills and the surrounding areas, to promote community participation in healthy recreation and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	In 2024 Ride Mendips ran a number of volunteer dig sessions between February and August. During this time, we maintained and improved a range of mountain bike trails in Rowberrow Warren and installed a storage facility to support future dig sessions. At the time of writing discussions with Forestry England in relation to the renewal of a contract which enables the charity's activities are ongoing.
