Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Klingen Choir and Cultural Association organised a number of concerts, lectures, exhibitions and workshops in the year 2023/24. The following were particularly noteworthy:
Concert in Sofia, Bulgaria with AGBU Sofia Chamber Orchestra
Aram Khachaturian 120th Anniversary Concert Orchestral and solo pieces for piano, violin, oboe and vocal St John’s Smith Square, Westminster, London
Concert dedicated to Armenian composers Alexander Spendiaryan and Lazar Saryan, Armenische Kirche in Deutschland and Katholisches Bildungswerk Köln
BACH forever concert in St Cuthbert’s Church, London Bach’s piano Concerto no.1, piano Concerto no.5, Orchestral suite no. 2, Concerto for oboe and violin in C Minor, pieces for piano, violin, flute, oboe and his beautiful arias and choir songs.
Spring Remembrance Concert in Montreal, Canada, dedicated to prominent Armenian composers Alexander Spendiaryan and Lazar Sarian
Komitas 155th birth anniversary concert, lecture and exhibition in St Sarkis Church, London
St Sarkis Church Spring festival in St Sarkis Church, Iverna Gardens, London with Klingen Choir and KCCA soloists performing at the event
