## PWCGBA TRUSTEE’S REPORT 2025 The Trustees are delighted to present their report for 2025 and reflect on what has been another positive and progressive year for the Academy. First and foremost, the Trustees would like to place on record their sincere appreciation for the hard work, commitment, and dedication shown by everyone involved with the charity. From volunteers and staff to partners and supporters, it is this collective effort that continues to drive the Academy forward and uphold its values. From a financial perspective, the Academy remains in a strong and stable position. This is particularly encouraging given the wider economic challenges faced over the past year. Through careful stewardship and forward planning, the Academy has not only maintained its financial resilience but has also continued to diversify its asset base, providing additional protection and sustainability for the future. The Trustees are especially pleased with the ongoing success of the Fun At Bowls (FAB) initiative, which continues to thrive and expand its reach. In addition, the progression of programmes within schools and academies has been highly encouraging, helping to introduce the sport to new audiences and inspire greater participation. Our work within communities — particularly those that are traditionally harder to engage — remains a key priority. It is rewarding to see this work increasingly recognised for its role in bringing people together and fostering inclusion. We are also pleased to report continued success as reflected in the excellent feedback received from members, guests, and visitors. These positive experiences reinforce the Academy’s reputation as a welcoming, inclusive, and high-quality environment for all who engage with it. Looking ahead, the Trustees are optimistic about the year to come. We are confident that the Academy is well-positioned not only to sustain its presence and financial performance but to build upon its achievements and flourish further in 2026 and beyond.
