- Carol Morris (CM) resigned as Treasurer, replaced by Bridget Chambers (BC) at the EGM held on 12[th] January 2021, leaving a vacancy of Secretary
- Kieran Riley (KR) stood down as Ambulance Officer due to a conflict of interest in becoming a CFR with South Staffs responders. CM took on the Ambulance Officer role with KR taking on the vacant Lifesaving Officer role, again at the EGM held on 12[th] January 2021
- Sam Edwards (SE) resigned as Fundraising Officer
## 5. Chair’s Annual Report
- We’ve had a busy 12 months as a charity despite being in the middle of a global pandemic. We now have our own website, Facebook and LinkedIn pages. We are officially signed up and recognised as a CFR scheme with WMAS and have surrogacy of Dudley CFRs; with both schemes using the FastAid branding, so FastAid Dudley and FastAid Wulfruna respectively. From the recent recruitment we have 4 new CFRs for Wolverhampton and 9 for Dudley. We have started our pool-based lifesaving sessions at Central baths on Tuesday evenings and have resumed talks with Sneyd Water Activities Centre with regards to running our Open Water Lifesaving sessions there; We have also been asked to write Sneyd’s Open Water Swimming Safety Operating procedures. We have also signed up as a local group with Communities Prepared a national community resilience programme that equips Community Emergency Volunteer (CEV) and Flood Warden groups with the knowledge and confidence to prepare for, respond to, and recover from a range of emergencies, from flooding and severe weather incidents to pandemics. We were nominated for selection as one of the Wolverhampton Mayor’s charity for 2021/22, but unsuccessful (there’s always next year). We continue to have good support from Jane Stevenson MP for Wolverhampton North-East and are making further inroads with the City of Wolverhampton

Council. Unfortunately, many of our planned trained courses have either been postponed or cancelled, putting a little dampener on proceedings, we did manage to run an RLSS Community Instructor Course between the 1[st] and 2[nd] lockdown, and this weekend sees the first of our prospective Search Technicians undertaking their Search Technician course with UKLSI. We renewed our membership with the Civil Defence Association (CDA) and gained our Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) affiliation.

3. Volunteer of the Year - An exceptionally passionate individual who has shown true commitment and great enthusiasm, a high level of innovation and outstanding contribution.
