Annual Report RCPG. 1 April 2021 To 31 March 2022
During the financial period the RCPG have managed to raise funds for the community plans aims.
We run a regular monthly pop up cafe with no expenditure as the Parish Hall is given free and everything is provided by the volunteers. At Christmas we were entertained by the Maltby Brass band which was paid for by the Parish Council and we ran a raffle. The RCPG are delighted in the response from our villages to support these events.
We have also secured funds from the Co-operative group this year and been accepted again for funding in the next financial year.
A Community Plan survey has been sent out to every household in the Parish, by the Parish Council and we are waiting the outcome to determine what aims we can work towards to improve and support our community.
One of our aims is to raise enough money to provide an all weather path around a community space. The Rotherham Borough Council has repaired a broken drain on the field and once we have quotes from companies for more drainage, if it is needed, and quotes we can apply for funding.
