## **TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT (1st APRIL 2021 TO 31st MARCH 2022)**

## **Festival Church**

## **About Us**

Festival Church is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) comprising of a network of local Christian congregations working together for the greater good. Its charitable objects are to promote the Christian Faith, to advance education and to relieve sickness and financial hardship, in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world.

## **Review of 2021 / 2022**

The Festival Church CIO was established on 12th March 2020 to create a new governance framework for a number of existing, but separate, Festival congregations to adopt. These congregations are expected to adopt the framework in the Spring of 2022. Until that time, these Festival congregations will continue as they are now until the transfer to the new Festival Church CIO. As such, there has been only a small amount of activity within the CIO since its establishment.

## **Statement of Responsibilities**

The Festival Church trustees will continue to ensure good governance of the charity and will make the necessary arrangements for the proper control and administration of its financial affairs and ensure that the resources for the administration of those affairs are available.
