Health and safety

In order to open the Shed to members a Health and Safety booklet has to be compiled and issued to each member.

Peter is to meet with Shed Trustees on site on 20-8-21 and they will continue to meet until he is able to finalise a Health and Safety document, Peter will put the policy on line for members to read.

A decision must be made as to how many members are to be allowed on site each day, how many days the shed is to open and if wood work and metal work should be on alternate days.

Advertising Driffield Men in Sheds

It was suggested that we advertise in the Driffield Wolds Weekly and on the Radio (Mark) and that we hold a drop in at Cass Hall to promote DMS for new members to call in and have a chat and join if they wish to do so.

We need 40 paying members to guarantee the annual rent of £4000. Members to pay £10.00 a month It was suggested that new members be half price for the first three months.

A review of the fee to take place in March 2022.
