**Objects:** THE CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE U3A ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED FROM FULL-TIME WORK RESIDING IN HORNDEAN AND ITS SURROUNDING LOCALITY BY ALL MEANS INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.

**Activities:** There is a monthly meeting with an educational talk for members.  There are activity groups for members to join covering a variety of subjects - some academic, some recreational.
