Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) The Promotion Of Religious Harmony For The Benefit Of The Public, By Educating The Public In Islam And Through Interfaith Dialogue, Promoting Awareness And Knowledge Of Islam And Its Common Ground With Other Faiths, So As To Promote Good Relations, Respect And Mutual Understanding Between Muslims And Persons Of Different Faiths.(2) The Relief Of Sickness And The Preservation Of Health Among People Residing Permanently Or Temporarily In Southampton, Winchester, Chandlers Ford, Romsey, North Baddesley And The Surrounding Area By The Provision Of Free Health Checks And Information To Promote Healthy Lifestyles And Prevent Ill Health.(3) To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Southampton, Winchester, Chandlers Ford, Romsey, North Baddesley And The Surrounding Area, In Particular Members Of The Muslim Community, By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Residents.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain Or Manage Or Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance Or Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
