The steering group<br>swiftly moved meetings online and utilised<br>the Zoom platform. Two members used<br>their skills to make masks, both fabric using<br>newly acquired sewing machines and then<br>3D printed using a COVID relief grant from<br>the Northamptonshire Community<br>Foundation to purchase 3D printers and<br>consumables. The masks and stretchers<br>were given away free to key workers at<br>various NHS and Corby Council sites as<br>well as to volunteers working in the<br>Kingswood and Hazel Leys Community.<br>The 25 year lease for land on which the<br>shed was built was negotiated, agreed and<br>signed, along with final plans for<br>construction. Companies and tradespeople<br>to build the shed as well as electrical,<br>plumbing, carpentry and solar panel<br>installation were identified and agreed.|

## **Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Kingswood Hazel Leys Community in Sheds (Reg Charity 1188380)** 

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Kingswood Hazel Leys Community in Sheds for period 6[th] March 2020 to 31[st] March 2021. 

## **Responsibilities and basis of report** 

As the charity trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner’s statement** 

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 

1.   accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or 

2.   the accounts do not accord with those records. 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
