Shop Success
Kristel and Ken Smith have had a very successful year managing the shop, our sales have increased from £?? To £??, we all appreciate their hard work and dedication.

Donations
We are delighted to report that since we stopped charging an admission fee our donations have increased.
Funding News

We have received support through Government Covid Grants.

We have been fruitful in our Grant application to Redcar Asda and have secured £1,000.

We have been promised £5,000 from the Normanby Trust.

We have secured a grant of £2,000 from the Two Riding Community Foundation.

positive tax solutions INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE STAITHES MUSEUM AND HERITAGE TRUST I report to the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Staithes Museum and Heritage Trust for the year ended 31 December 2021. Responsibilities and basis of this report As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111"the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed 311 applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145151 Ibl of the Act. Independent Examinerfs Statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect- l. Accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act,. or 2. The accounts do not accord with those records. I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
