Recrultment and Appolntment of Trustees
The charity is governed by a board ol Irustees drawn from the local community. This is to ensure that the board has the
skills and experience required to oversee the management of the charity and its operations.
The charity trustees are responsible for the general control and management of the charity. The trustees give their time
frgely and receive no remungration or other financial benefits.
Trust•• Inductlon and Tralnlng
All new trustees receive a planned induction programme before tsking up their place on the board. This includes an
explanation of their role5 and responsibilities, an introduction to other trustees, an overview of recent acb'vities and an
explanation of board format and process.
Risk management
The ttustees have a risk management strategy whieh includes an annual ieview of the risks the charity faces and the
establishment ol systems and procedures to mitigale those risks and implerllentation of procedures designed to minimise
any potential impact on charity should those risks materialise.

I report on the accounts of Marharll Welfare Forurll IMWFI for the period ended 30.09.2024, which are set out on pages 3
Respe¢live responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charitls Iruslees are responsible for the preparation of the accounls.The charity's trustees consider that an
audit is not required for this year under secb'on 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Acll and that an
independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act,. to follow the procedures laid
down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the 2011 Act- and to
slate whether particular matters have come to my allenlion.
Independent examinerfs ststement
In connection with my examination, no matier has come to my attention..
il which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements = to keep
accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act,. and to prepare accounts which accord with
the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act, have not been met., or
ill to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
