Greenwich Tritons - South East London Triathlon Club Alm and Purpose Greenwlch Tritons is an a¢cessible grassroots community triathlon club. based in Greenwich, SE London. with emphasis on participation, friendship and fun. WÈ welcome members of all levels of ability. We aim to help all our members achieve their individual triathlon goals in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Our Junior Club aims to give children a taste of lriathlon. support their progress in the sport, and provide them with a safe and encouraging environment in which to train and compete. Actlvltlel We run 8 number of weekly training aclivilies for our members, lo suit all abilities. swim training, run training and cycle training. including group rides. We arrange for club kil lo be available al cost to our members and have a small number of bike boxes available for hire. To encourage a greater sense of community across our memb8rs. we run a number of soci81 events, including our annual awards dinner. We also identify a middle distance event (allernaling UK and overseas) which we attend as a club. Each year we run a junior aqualhlon for over 150 children across London and thè South East as part of the London Junior Triathlon Series. Achlavamants and PertOMnce Wa are hugély proud of the performance of all our members, adult and junlor, whether starting out in trlalhlon or comp8llng at th& very highest lèval. Our fantasllc coaching team and more experlenced M&Mr8 encourage all to reach thelr personal ambitions through advlce and thoughthilly deslgned Iralnlng sessions. In addition to triathlon, ¢Jur members cOMte in Cross County, Cycllng Tlme Trials and range of running events. This year we attended the Cotswold Mlddle Dislance as a club and also entered a number of teams into the Duathlon Relay at Gravesend Cyclopark. Once again we pulled together as a club to run our juntor aqualhlon with many membèrs competlng or volunteering (or in some $88, both). Thanks especially to our junlor commlttee members for leading the organisation of this highly successful event. Flnanclal Rl•W This year we have suffered a small deficit bul one that is within acceptsble limits. Our m8mb8rship has increased and we have increased the range of training available to Ihem, including additional swim and track sessions for the adults. However, in some cases we were not able to recover costs on these new initiatives. The nature of sessions remains under revlew and thè coaching team will continue to fiex as necessary.

Voluntser8 Greenwlch Trltons Is run mainly by volunteers, wlth a srnall number of pald part-tlme coaches, We would Ilk8 to thank Duncan Hope for all hls efforts to manage the club finances In re¢ent years. Particularly to brlng the accounting on-line. Duncan will be replaced as treasurer by Marc Morley-Freer. We would also like to thank Julie Lockwood for her excellent management of the club kit over the past few years.
