The charity has three centres run by volunteers at different locations throughout Derbyshire (with a fourth one still under development) and works under an annual licence granted by the Duke of Edinburgh Award organisation. The charity is managed by a nominated trustee who carries out day to day administration for the whole county on a voluntary basis.

Our charity is run entirely by adult volunteers. This includes day-to day administration which is performed by an Operational Manager and supported by an Assistant Manager, both who are trustees of the charity. The three local groups spread around the county are run by volunteer leaders and a third group is currently in the development pipeline and will be similarly volunteer run.

## Section D                      Achievements and performance 

**Summary of the main** Our organisation continues to attract young people who wish to **achievements of the charity** undertake their DofE award but have found it difficult to do so elsewhere **during the year** such as their school.  We are also experiencing a small number of home schooled and home educated young people taking an interest in enrolling to do their award with us. Our participants numbers during this period gradually began to increase in line with our expectations following the end of Covid-19 restrictions and we were able to run a number of DofE expeditions. The year culminated with a successful Awards Celebration event, which was supported by a number of our district and county councillors who represent the various areas where our participants live.
