## **Chairpersons Report** 

Thank you all for coming along to F@B’s A.G.M. We have had a great year for fundraising, we were able to have the Christmas Fair after all the COVID restrictions, it was a great success. Thank you to all involved with the planning and delivering. 

Both discos were successful, lots of positives from the children and lots of volunteers, both family members and school staff helping. 

The Bingo Night was great fun, this was a first ever for me! Although we only had a handful of teams everyone that attended was really pleased, there were lots of prizes won and lots of fun had. Mr Bone was a great bingo caller, we were very grateful to have him. 

The Kings Coronation Cupcakes went down a treat with the children and the staff, everyone was very grateful for this. 

150[th] Anniversary of Broadwater C of E was lovely; it was nice to be involved in the whole school assembly. Thank you to Carman and Lacey for helping me serve hot drinks and cakes afterwards too. F@B donated money for the benches in the prayer garden, which look amazing surrounding the tree and flower beds. 

I attended the induction evening for the September 2023 starters and gave a short speech about what F@B does and how we can be supported. Emily displayed preloved uniform which was a huge hit and we received lots of lovely donations for. 

The Summer Fair was brilliant, the sunshine managed to hold out for us (Maybe a few specks of rain)! Thank you to Victoria for getting so many donations for our raffle and luxury tombola these went down a treat with all. Thank you to everyone that volunteered, we were so well organised that we even managed a lunch break! 

Thank you to Debi and Marc in their joint treasurer role. 

Thank you to Emily for looking after the pre-loved uniform and sorting through for requested donations. 

I’d like to say a personal thank you to Jen and Rebekah for being Vice Chairs they have been invaluable with their help, support, and knowledge. 

Thank you to Mrs Corless and the staff for all their support to F@B over the last year, especially Mr James who has helped us with tables and freezers being moved all over the place. 

I have really enjoyed my year as Chair of F@B it’s been great fun, I’ve met some great families and have felt really supported in the role.
