Activities
Havering Islamic Cultural Centre has many objectives and roles it is involved in the religious, cultural and social life of Havering. The primary role is to promulgate the true meaning and understanding of Islam as a religion of peace, tolerance and coexistence.
Objects: To Advance The Islamic Religion For The Benefit Of Public In Particular But Without Limitation Through The Holding Of Prayer Meetings, Establishment Of Religious Places, Producing And/or Distributing Literature On Islamic Religion To Enlighten Others About Islamic Religion.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power:to Establish And Maintain The Management Of A Mosque And Community Centre For Activities Promoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects. Such As:contributing To The Spiritual And Moral Education Of Children;contributing Towards A Better Society, For Example By Promoting Social Cohesions And Social Capital;carrying Out, As A Practical Expression Of Religious Beliefs, Other Activities (Such As Advancing Education Or Conflict Resolution, Or Relieving Poverty), Which May Also Be Charitable.
