The objects of the CIO are the relief of the inhabitants of Gosforth, Jesmond and other identified wards of Newcastle upon Tyne (the area of benefit) who are in need because of age, Summary of the objects sickness or disability (mental or physical) or poverty or because of the charity set out in of the lack of availability of adequate safe public passenger its governing document services by the provision of a community transport service to community groups at an affordable cost.
Gosforth and Jesmond Community Minibus did not conduct any activities during this period because of the Covid 19 pandemic. Those who the Charity is designed to serve were constrained for health reasons.

Section D Achievements and performance
Gosforth and Jesmond Community Minibus received Charity Summary of the main achievements of the Commission confirmation of entry into the Register of Charities charity during the year on 26[th] February 2020. The intention was to migrate the existing unincorporated charity ‘Gosforth Community Minibus’ No 702348 into the new CIO. However, the onset of Covid 19 led to a cessation of activities and a delay to the planned transfer. Therefore, other than preparation work relating to Safeguarding, Data protection and Risk Management, Gosforth and Jesmond Community Minibus remained dormant throughout this period. Commencement of activities and transfer from Gosforth Community Minibus to the new CIO is now scheduled for year commencing April 2021.
