## **Achievements and Performance**

||SORP reference||
|---|---|---|
|Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.|Para 1.20|Last year our main achievement was to
preserve local facilities (bowling green and
cricket pitch) for use by the local
community, which would otherwise have
been lost. This work has continued, with
the amenities still in good order and
available to all.
Building on last year’s success, we have
been able to purchase games which make
the bowling green more interesting to
younger children. These were purchased
toward the end of July and volunteers
made themselves available during the
summer holidays.|
|**Additional information (optional)**
You may choose to include further statements||where relevant about:|
|Achievements against
objectives set|Para 1.41|Our main objective has been to preserve
the bowling facilities for use by local
inhabitants of Kibblesworth and
surrounding areas - this has been met.
We have also met our secondary objective
which was to raise awareness of the
amenities and to provide more interest to
younger groups. This has been met.
Although new members were welcomed to
the club, this was neutralised by existing
members taking a break for various family
commitments. We look forward to their
return next season.|
|Performance of fundraising
activities against objectives
set|Para 1.41|We have raised enough funds to support a
steady state.
However, we have a plan to improve the
overall experience for younger and older
generations using the bowling green (bowls
is one of the few sports where all
generations of a family can play at no
disadvantage to either older or younger|

|||players). In order to effect this plan, a
significant increase in funds raised is
needed.|
