**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND CAREER PROSPECTS OF TALENTED STUDENTS FROM LOW INCOME BACKGROUNDS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:(1) THE PROVISION OF BURSARIES FOR THEIR MAINTENANCE WHILE IN EDUCATION AND TO SUPPORT THEIR ACADEMIC AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING; AND(2) ASSISTING THEM IN ACHIEVING THE NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE TO PURSUE THEIR CHOSEN CAREER
