Teversham is to a&8ist the Incumbent (or, in the absence of an incumbent. the lawfijl minister in charge) and the Parochial Church Council in the restoration, preservation, repair. maintenance. improvement and beautification of the P2fAsh Church of All Saints, Teversham in the Diocese of Ely for the benefit of au residents of the ecdesiastical parish of Teversham and Su￿oUnd￿g ar4 and of the monuments, fittings> fixtures, stalned glass, furniture. ornaments and chattels in the church and churchyard belonging to the Church. The activities of the charity are ￿nd￿lSing by meMbe￿h1P subscriptioffj events, gr2nt applications. 3nd gener31 donations. In plannlng their acttvities for the year. the Trustees have considered the Charity Commission's guidan￿ on public benefit. AchleuementsandPerforn￿e The Friends was constituted as a Charit2ble Incorporated Organisation on 5 February 2020 by adopting the Charity Commission's 'FouAdation M<xld' model 8overnAng document. It was registered at the Ch2Tity Commission on 25 Febnwy 2020. The governing document is av2ilable at ht s:Iltevershamfriends.o documents. In the fourth year of operation. the Friends has raised £38￿95 and spent £2000 in a grant to All Saints PCC and £10.75 in bank charg￿. The Trustees maintained the website to promote the 2CtiVity of the Friends. The costs of the webslte are borne eX8r4t￿ by a Trustee. There have been Ao related parties trans2CtAons. FvwnnalReux¥v The charity generated a surphjs of £1804.20 in the year to 31 December 2023. Total income Was £384.95. Totsl expenditure was £2010.75. Operating expenses consisted only of banking fees, WAth other expenses Iwebs(te, post2￿ etc) covered exgratia by the Trustees themsdves. The Trustees have not considered it necessary to set a form21 level of reserve which the CharTty ts r4uired to maintaxn. Thc levcl of grant expenditure is entiTcly at the dAscretion of the Trustees and is set with reference to annual income. The nature of the Charitfs acttvities AS such that was possible to maintain sufficient funds iti the bank to meet any lthilities as they fell due. The Trustees have considered the risks inherent in the Chariry and taken steps to minimise such risk. The Charity is governed by a gOVernu￿ document dated 5 Febrnary 2020. It is a Charitable Incorporated Or8anisation registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales (no. 1188174). Canon Nick Moir is the Incurn￿nt of AU Saints Teversham and u offiuo chair of the Parochial Chwch Council. The management aod fin2oce of the two organisations are, however, entArety separate. Dr Ian Hunt is also an elected member of the Parochial Church CouncAt of the ecdesiastical parish ofTeversham. The Trustees are responsible llnder the provisions of the Charity Att 2011 for the preparatAon of account5 for each financial year that give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of rhe Friends and of Ats income and expenditurc for the year.
