TRUSTEES REPORT
FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 1ST FEBRUARY 2025
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
The principal activity of the charity is the advancement of the Christian faith through regular public worship, biblical teaching, and Christian fellowship. In furtherance of its objects, the charity conducts weekly services, provides pastoral care and prayer support to individuals in need, and organises teaching events and conferences. Through these activities, the charity seeks to share the Christian faith with the local community, provide spiritual support and discipleship, and demonstrate Christian compassion through practical service to those in need within London and beyond.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
During the year under review, Inherit Life Ministries has continued to conduct weekly Sunday services at Sunnyfields School, Hendon (London Borough of Barnet). These services remain central to our charitable objective of advancing the Christian faith, providing regular opportunities for public worship, biblical teaching, and Christian fellowship.
In addition to weekly services, ILM has undertaken community outreach and provided prayer support to individuals within Barnet and across London. These activities contribute to our wider aim of serving the community and sharing the Christian faith.
FUTURE PLANS
Looking forward, the trustees intend that ILM will continue to serve the local community through ongoing Sunday services, Christian teaching, and outreach initiatives. Plans for the forthcoming year also include the organisation of at least one conference to further our charitable objectives.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Total incoming resources for the period were £10,355. Total resources expended were £10,250. A full review of the financial position of the charity can be found on the attached financial statements.
PUBLIC BENEFIT
The charity acknowledges its requirement to demonstrate clearly that it must have charitable purposes or ‘aims’ that are for the public benefit. Details of how the charity has achieved this are provided in the Trustees report. The Trustees confirm that they have paid due regard to the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit before deciding what activities the charity should undertake.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT ON THE ACCOUNTS
Report to the trustees/members of Inherit Life Ministries on the accounts for the period ended 1st February 2025 set out on pages 7 to 9.
RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER
The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this period (under section 144 (2) of the Charities Act 2011) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
-
examine the accounts (under section 145 of the 2011 Act),
-
to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act), and
-
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
My examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the organisation and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view' and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention
-
which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the trustees have not met the requirements to ensure that:
-
proper accounting records are kept (in accordance with section 130 of the Act); and
-
accounts are prepared which agree with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Act; or
-
to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
