Section D                      Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

We held singing sessions for children on Monday evenings at times when this was permitted. COVID lockdowns and government guidance meant that we weren’t able to do this for most of the first half of 2021.

We are grateful to Councillor Alex Dale of Derbyshire County Council who gave us a grant of £300 from his pot for the “Members Community Leadership Scheme”.

We were delighted that we were able to hold out first in-person concert with an audience on Saturday 18[th] December in Dronfield Parish Church. This was the first concert we have been able to have since 15 March 2020. It were very well; there was an audience of about 100 people in the church and another 22 watching online on a live stream.

## **Further financial review details (Optional information)**

You **may choose** to include additional information, where relevant about:

- the charity’s principal sources of funds (including any fundraising);

- how expenditure has supported the key objectives of the charity;

At the beginning of 2021 we introduced the requirement for the parents to provide a contribution of £10 per child for each half-term. With typically 6 or 7 session in each half-term this works out at less than £1.50 per session which is very good value. All the parents have contributed this during the course of the year.

We asked for £3 per ticket parental contributions for the Christmas Concert on 18[th] December 2021. Together with the raffle on the day this generated approximately £400.

- investment policy and objectives including any ethical investment policy adopted.
