						In 2015the bridge at Pooley Bridge collapsed in		heavy flooding			and the
						village was cut off from the	West bank, causing considerable			disruption		to
						the residents ofthe village.	A replacement bridge	is now	under
						construction (completed October 2020), and the		decision	was taken for
						pavers to be available for sale and the funds generated from				the sales to
						be used for exclusively charitable purposes within the Barton				&	Pooley
						Bridge area by setting up a	charitable fund.
